wiring through firewall

Not really sure how to get the interior wires for a switch to the engine bay, figured it would be easy, but im not sure where to look for a hole or what not for the wires to go through

There is really no 'easy' way that I know of. Either find a preexisting shared entry point, drill your own, or look into running through the fenders/doorjamb.

There's grommets all over the place. Easiest one to use is the grommet that the throttle cable goes through. Very accessible from the engine bay or the passenger compartment.
Fix it 'till it's broken. Then upgrade.

i use a 0AWG cable from the battery to the amps in the boot (trunk) so the existing holes are way too small.

i drilled a hole in the passenger footwell through to the engine bay, then just put a grommet in and slide the cables through :-)

0AWG? You're not trying to power a flux capacitor.
Fix it 'till it's broken. Then upgrade.

if you look up by the pedals toward the outside of the car you will see the hood latch grommet, if you cant see it inside look at it from the engine bay on the right behind the battery and break cylinder. this is the spot i used to pass my power cable through it is easy and very safe from watter and other road hazards!
