i have an auto but im gonna do the 5 speed swap and i need to know if i need the computer and harness out of the car im getting the 5 speed out of .
my car and the car im getting the 5 speed out of are both a 2000 neon

yes, you should get it if u have the chance, u need to get it swapped to ur car, but ya u will need it. the hardware in general is different, however screaming03neon has found a way to run the manual on an atx computer, its a good temp fix.
