interest in a harness bar

Post by Ntyvirus1 » Thu Nov 19, 2009 1:16 pm

*not a for sale thread* i was just wondering how many people would be interested in a harness bar other then the CTI one. it would replace the seatbelt slider completely but wouldn't require the second bar going down to the floor. again, not a for sale thread.

Id be interested in seeing the design. And if it was SCCA legal. Ive had the Modacar bar for years now, but the lower bars do get in the way sometimes.

Not sure how I would feel about it not having the lower bars. Sounds like more of a show piece rather than a safety piece.

If it's not accepted then it doesn't really matter if it's strong enough. It would still fail a tech inspection.

i know it wouldn't be able to be used in competition i was just sayin it should be a sturdy made piece. im not the one making these im just relaying the message to gauge interest.

Whats the point in making it, if it cant be used for racing?

Seems kind of gay to have 'look at me, look at me, I have harnesses'... and have them be completely useless.

Ill stick with my modacar bar.

True that. I would want this bar to be legal for racing use as well.

I would be interested in one for sure for my show car. I don't need it to be track safe. Just street/show safe haha.
