Hah! Got'ya... I'm not leaving. Well, not per sé. I'll be gone for 7 months to the same place I was at last year (for those of you who know). As much as I didn't want to go again, we're no-shit leaving. Soon. No idea on exact date and I wouldn't mention it even if I did know (not on a forum lol). I'm looking on the bright side of things though. When I get back, I'll have less than half a year in the Marine Corps and I'll be coming back with about $15,000 in savings. I'm gonna pay the car off and possibly a few debts that I have. I will hopefully have roughly $8,000 left after the car and debts. And I have been thinkin I'm gonna either keep the Neon, finish it, paint it a completely different color (since I'll have the money), and turbo it. Or just color-match the front end, fix a few things on the car, and trade it in for something else. No idea yet, but keeping my options open.

Just to get an idea, but if I were to post my deployment address on here how many of you guys would send "care packages"? Just curious, would be kinda nice to hear from you all every once in a while since I won't have the internet access that I did have last year during deployment.

Alright guys. I'm heading back to oh-so-wonderful Afghanistan. To say the least, tonight is my last night and my girl will be in town to spend the night. Kind of excited, kind of not (I'm sure the Active duty guys understand). If someone can shoot me their email or a phone number so whenever I get an address I can call/email to them to post, that'd be cool (if you guys are still willing to send some care packages ^_^). I hope to see you all next year in about 7-9 months or whatever. And I guess it won't be till 2011 till I get a chance to hit up Carlisle. Alright. Like I said, you guys can ask the other ones whom are in the military about what would be good things to send or whatever. I'm not really picky, so anything would be awesome. I can always disperse the stuff within my platoon or whatever. Heck, letters would be nice.. lawl

And just so you guys know, there aren't any females in our Battalion lol..

i dont see why you could paint everything graphite then boost, u dont need a nifty color to go fast. and im sure we could get some care packages goin.

Funny guy. I definitely want to keep the Neon since I already have the car and nothing's wrong with it. Most definitely considering the turbo route

rOniN - My MOS is 0621 (Field Radio Operator). I'm with a line company, so I'll probably be the guy runnin around with our CO with a radio on my back... and an antenna sticking out of my pack that pretty much says "Hey, shoot this guy!" ('this guy' being me)

Last year in Afghanistan I was with Headquarters Company so I had it pretty "skate" all deployment. My weapon stayed in my sleeping bag out of the sand most of the time!

If I remember right we were not even allowed to have porn on our own personal hard drives of our computer.

Magazines/Candy/Letters/DVDs (not porn)

Oh.. we're "not supposed to" have porn, but people still send it. rofl. and yes, there are people here with it on their external [harddrives] *looks around*

You all are the best. Officially in Afghanistan, as of like 4 days ago. Can't wait for the other Battalion to get here and start rockin this shit. Keep an eye on the news about "1st Battalion 6th Marines". We're gonna be in some pretty nasty crap this year. This fight is going to be intense!
