Not reading cds

started happening about a week ago. my stock head unit will only read certain cds, that "ERR" keeps popping up.
time to replace?

Well have you tried using a cleaning disc. Also is it burned disced that its having problms with or all??

I have a couple of stockers for sale and if you want I have a couple of used cd players with the harnesses dash kit and ant. adapters as well let me know and Ill try and help you out.

the stock radio is very picky after a while. it gets more and more dirty and then finally it will not read CDs anymore...

Try cleaning it with canned air. I've gotten various drives to work by doing that.

When mine acted up, it would only read burned discs, and not commercial ones. It was a good excuse to upgrade.
