There are spots all over the bottom of the bumper that look like paint chipped off or cracked. Maybe it's just the pics, but it definitely looks like it's missing some paint. That and the gap along the hood is uneven and terrible.
Are the ends of your side skirts not painted all the way?

dam mr detail. lol.
but u are correct. i do have paint peeling off on the front bumper..and yes the end of the skrits are missing some paint. it wasnt my best paint job ok.( i drive this everyday and on the highway 5 days a week so its bound to have some paint chipping..thats why im repainting it again in may( i get done with college in may so wont have to highway travel anymore ). im having SXXXT paint it for me and if he would get done with my photochops then i could show you all what we are gonna do to it.

2nd and 4th pics it looks like its cracked on the driver's side where the middle piece connects with the fog light area. I guess it's the flaky paint.

Chill broskiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii's. Yea, Neon4Life, you can see how the front end is not painted very well. I remember that from awhile ago though. The EVO Kit of course isn't too appeasing, but you obivously know this. And yea, chillax. You know 60% of people don't like body kits in the first place.

Um. I like the basic colour? I think a lot more car enthusiasts could take hints from the 'core JDM guys in terms of keeping stuff clean and cohesive. I personally don't care for the evo kit, but failing my opinion, I also think the 'kit lines are fucked from front to back.
I guess I just don't get the approach of making as "radical" as possible body mods on a car that you drive every day. It's not a show car, but you seem to want people to commend the kit? I haven't even touched on the outdated wheel syle or poo paint. Just gonna leave it be. Modding cars is mad expensive to yield a great outcome. I hate cut corners.
I think that's all...

how is the silver 5-spoke an "outdated" wheel style?

The shape of the spokes with the slight flare at the rim intersection looks dated and cheap to me. It might be a 500 dollar forged wheel, but it looks like a 1997 American Racing wheel to me.

And you thought I was TOO nice on the .org!
Ah, I'll concede that my comment came off a bit prickly, but it is concise, and my opinion. (I'll happily take comments on my car too.)
Maybe seeing photos of a first gen in black with gold accents made me a bit more standoffish than usual.

hahahahaha there's no room for nice on the .org (especially when it comes to the black and gold monstrosity) but here at 2gn, we're a bit nicer.

except for me.

(Sadly, in many cases) it really comes down to what you like. Or are led to believe it cool. Or the stupid "hot" new modding trend you HAVE to jump on... There I go again.
I'm on the .org and NC as 97sportCoupe_Ben. Normally I'm pretty mellow and a reader more than a poster. I'm worried I'm becoming an asshole, too...
OP: just to take my rant in context, this is my 3rd Neon, and the 5th car I've nodded at all. There's been good and bad. My current car, if you wanna spit venom (or try):

I think he's saying that because it doesn't fit very well. There's a massive gap between the fascia and the hood. Also, the fog lights stick out past the front of the kit. I have to agree. I'd ditch that front and go with something that follows the lines of the Neon a little better.
