P0700 + New Transmission

Post by Adionik » Mon Nov 23, 2009 9:50 pm

Well I replaced my old transmission because it refused to go into gear, and was throwing itself in limp mode.

So, got new transmission, shifts into reverse and the other gears beautifully...but is once again stuck in limp mode. I'm hearing this code 0700 is the TCM.

But EVERYTHING on this tranny is new to this car. The TCM is located on the tranny doesn't it? By the solenoid or something? Ahhhh :beatstick:

The idiot that fixed my car used self tapping screws to put my front bumper on. Fucking great.
