Coilovers

Post by blue_03_sxt » Tue Dec 01, 2009 4:43 am

Hey i'm new to this site I have a 2003 sxt and was looking to purchase some coilover sleeves just wondering if anyone has used them on the stock shock? I plan on only dropping it about 1.75in for now until I get some aftermarket ones how long will the stock ones hold up for and would the ride be too bumpy? Thanks

Horrible Ride. Waste money and time. Will blow your struts out. Broke on a member here.

Save moneys if you want coilovers.

OR do the more reliable thing and get a good set of springs that arnt too low. eibach pro kit is a good one for example.

no.
save $850-$1000.
Buy real coilovers, not fake ones.

or

buy $30 coilover sleeves
get them welded on (dangerous)
have your struts blow a ~week later

our struts weren't designed to be that low and take that kind of abuse
