Rofl. This is no "twin turbo" forum. We've all got 16-17 second Neons here, mostly.

I've been here close to 3 years, and my car has changed waaay moar than I care to remember. I've made FEW picture posts, and have never had a project log.

Build YOUR car the way YOU want it built. If it's something people flame for, and that bothers you, don't post on it anymore. Or better yet, contribute where it's needed, ask questions on problems you may get stuck on. That's what I've done, and I've gotten along fine. Do what you want with your car, but IMO selling it because some people "shoot down your dream" is weksos.

You're giving up because some fuckboy gives you shit? In that case you fail at life. Fuck the haters, who gives a shit what they think? You wanted a log, you've got a log, now do something with it and quit whining would ya? Geez...

like i have always said you pay the car and you drive it so who gives a rats ass what other people say. heck look at my pos it looks like it belongs in hell but i dont give a shit cus its my car if you dont like something about it give me the money and ill build it the way you want.

the other thing if you are going to get all bent out of shape and sell your car because someone said they didnt like it then you have other issues that need to be taken care of just relax and if you cant stand criticism good then dont post pictures of your car.

good luck with what ever you decide to do and for the record i think your car is hot specially with everything you have done to it. and dont let people get to you so easily you decided how you want to feel dont let other people choose your mood

Why don't you just SRT swap a 1gn coupe, or a 2gn.

Easier said than done. You bascially need a donor car to do the swap. While James has a R/T donor car, everything will be a breeze to swap over. Besides, whats wrong with N/A?

I didn't say anything is wrong with it. but if he is gonna pay three grand in a DONOR car, then why the hell not get an srt4 as a donor. more power, more win, more surprise, more uniqueness, more respect, more knowledge, more headturning, shall i keep going?

All I ever hear about SRTs is "yea... but it's still a Neon."

Anyway, I don't think James is trying to improve anything, just get back what he lost in the accident. Plus, his motor was pretty well equipped, so I'd want to keep it too if I were him.

no boosting the r/t engine while i have it out of the car and putting in th crower rods along with a lot of new parts. got plans to go stupid boost. I honestly want to get back to the continuation of the r/t engine, since it already got a new timing belt, water pump, oil pump, alternator, starter, radiator hoses, radiator, mass amounts of turbo parts and pretty much to make a hell of a ride once I can find a donor car. also looking into a white shell as well.

I've seen his engine and with the shit that he has on it I wonder where he gets all his money from every time. Oh, and I asked Dave, our local SRT swap guy, a while ago about how much it cost to do an SRT swap, his exact answer with a shake of the head and a shrug, "If you're thinking about doing that, you might as well get a whole new car."

yeah but dave also had a cracked block on the first engine, so he basically did the swap twice. plus, swapping into the 2000 wasn't exactly a cake-walk, haha.

i'm sure an SRT swap into an NGC car is easier and far cheaper though. but the point is james already has that sweet mag engine to swap into whatever neon he can grab....maybe into a base SE with the black door handles and wheel covers
