I agree with the SRT4 thing. You can find some really cheap if you look around. I hope it's not totaled, I know that's your baby.

Insurance companies reserve the right to refuse coverage if they feel you are too high of a risk to insure.

You probably would have been better off replacing your engine on your own.

Damn man, I've been following you car since I came here, since before when you had the massive wing. Damn dude, that really really sucks.

I hope everything works out well with the insurance and all. I would definitely try to fix it, though. Good luck man.

I've seen badly beaten ones for 7-8K at the lowest. Anything decent is going to cost you 10-15K easy.
$15k

Where are YOU looking? That is insane pricing. You can find them on SRTforums FS section all the time for much less
Do you really want to go there? I'm sure I can find you something.

The idea of a beat to shit turbo car does not thrill me.
Name me some cars that will beat an SRT-4 under 10k. I'm really interested in this.

First of all, glad you and your friend are okay.
As for you running summer tires in December..yeah thats not a good idea. Anyone who owns a neon in the midwest should have a nice set of winter tread or at least all seasonals.

Sucks about the insurance company dropping you. But I could see that happening due to your past event with the CAI water ingestion.

Cause they're fuckin' great cars! Dirt cheap to keep up, dirt cheap to mod, you can beat the hell out of them and they just take it, etc. I actually want (and may buy) a 2nd one.

Um, contradict yourself much? The "newest" F body is older than the oldest SRT-4.

Ouch that sucks, if it doesnt get total out I vote for this front end swap

If you get srt, put some winter tires on it, or you'll end up doing the same thing, just while going faster.

Well, as long as you haven't done frame damage, just replace the parts yourself. Certifit bumer, junkyard hood, maybe a fender? Should be pretty cheap.

Get yourself a good set of winter tires. I'm glad to hear you and your friend weren't hurt.

If the core support is fubar'd there's probably other frame type damage that would have to be pulled and/or replaced...

Texas pretty far away from Indiana?
Does look really clean though. I would offer 7500 for it due to the high mileage. Also make sure they did the timing belt/water pump...

Thats only if your car is totaled of course.

With 2 recent claims on your record, expect to pay out the ass.

Yup. A lot of people swap so they can just pay the insurance of a regular Neon. SRT insurance is already higher, let alone with several claims like you've just had.

I wouldn't advise buying an SRT with your insurance record. If your car is totalled, either buy a swapped car or just buy a cheap newer SXT and do the swap yourself.

A small fortune compared to my SXT.....like more than triple what I pay on the SXT with a clean record.

Damn that sucks. I think this is an opportunity to do a clean neon without a huge wing, body kit, or fart cannons

That SRT has been listed on eBay before. I recognize it. The sideskirt is broken too and the seats look like someone either took a dookie or jizzed on them, wtf?
