OBX Header on a 97 SOHC

Was trying to make sure this header would fit on a 97 SOHC and imput would be very appriciated. thanks

It will bolt to the head, but the 1gn exhaust will need to be converted to the 2gn style. 1gn's use a spherical doughnut and springs to flex at the header. 2gns use the 4 bolt flange and the accordion style flex joint. It is basically the opposite of bolting a Pacesetter header to a 2gn.

so if this downpipe is used then there are no other problems?

Other than adapting it to the existing exhaust, it would be no different than putting it into a 2gn.

If the cat was retained, the 4 bolt flange and flex joint would need to be welded to the cat, or an adapter to the 4 bolt flange to use the 1gn style flex coupler.
