Lets Say Thanks to our Troops

Post by LilSparkPlug » Thu Dec 17, 2009 2:10 pm

This website was forwarded to me in an email today. It allows you to pick a card, and a message and Xerox prints it out and sends it to a soldier overseas for free. I don't have people to forward it to so I figured I would post it up on here.

I sent one and so did my boyfriend, I think it's an adorable idea.

Go send one! It's free

:) It's a nice way to say thank you to them, especially those you don't know.

i was at boot camp and deployed for a christmas. (2 different years). and i can tell you, xmas cards made both livable. boot camp wasn't too bad, but deployment was hard...till they brought out the bag of cards from a bunch of 2nd graders. made grown men cry...its great

Yup, I received quite a few cards from elementary school kids. It was nice to get cards from people who don't even know you wishing you well.

I still have one on my fridge right now :P

Do either of you have pictures of them? I think that's so awesome :) It's nice to hear that they mean that much from people who've been there and received them. I think our troops in general are way under appreciated and not given the credit they deserve.

I can attest to that...walk onto Notre Dame's campus in uniform...They will look at you like you are the scum of the earth.

That's pathetic....people need to get over themselves and realize that if it weren't for people of the armed forces...they wouldn't have half the stuff they do now.
