Thank you, everyone!
(or thanks, y'all (from down here lol))
Amanda has mentioned that she would like to be married at the local grist mill (like a mile away from the house) and they have weddings (or murders, however you see it) about every other day. Well the basic package is about 2200 bucks, but it includes EVERYTHING. All we do is show up; that's it. So it's a damn good deal but we just don't have that kind of money right now. So we are gonna talk to the neighbor (landlord) and see if we can have the wedding in her hayfield (it's the same scenery and we can even see the mill.)
If anyone would like to come, y'all are more than welcome. We live just 15 minutes from Chattanooga, TN.
We've already decided that the women in our families are cooking. Amanda wants fried & grilled chicken and mashed potatoes and the like. The reception will be at our house.
Here is the grist mill.
Here is the package deal.
Does anyone have any advice for me? I'm new at this marriage game and I have an open ear!

Screw $2200....
I did a court house type deal... although a big wedding would be nice but $2200 can go towards a down payment on a house...or furniture or something of the likes.
You'll be just as married either way.
I got married a 18 years old... and it's been about 5 and half years now.
My biggest piece of advice would be....compromise.
You still need to have time for yourself/friends and wife time. You can't be up each others butts 24/7.
Congrats...

FYI: $2200 isn't a lot of money for a wedding.
My wife's dress and accessories cost nearly $2200.
Regardless of cost, the most important thing is to make sure she is happy.

Thanks y'all.
We decided to have it in the neighbor's field (to save money) and Amanda already has a dress (to save money); it was her aunt's prom dress and it's still in great condition (just need to alter the top a lil bit cos her titties are bigger
) My clothes are gonna be a polo shirt with khaki pants and barefoot (cos thats what Amanda wants.) The seating will be hay bales (from my boss) covered with sheets (to save money.) My great-uncle is going to do the marrying part (to save money.) The honeymoon will be in Pigeon Forge at my uncle's condo (to save money.)
Amanda has damn near everything planned out so far and it's all coming together nicely. So far we are looking at spending less than $1000 and prolly less when it gets closer to game-time.
Oh, and our marriage counseling has been the past 4 years (to save money) lol.

^^ Yeh my cousin can play a mean banjo
Just cos we'll be saving money doesn't mean that it'll be a bad wedding tho.
And we've already got a nice little house and an acre of land out in the woods.
