It could, but it's more likely to cause the fire AT the MFS, not under the hood.

If this were an electrical fire (and I agree, it sounds like it is) then it was most likely caused by the hacked up wiring harness that was in the car, or possibly by what sounds like sub-par repairs by Manny to said hacked up wiring harness.

this also kind of scares me because when my car was wrecked i had to resolder most of the harness back together.

I mean i did it correctly ( soldered, shrink tubed, plus taped, then wrapped in wire loom.) But it still scares me lol

In that case, your car will burn to the ground within the next two weeks no matter what you do.

Yes I am. I highly doubt anybody cares about me that much to make a FB group about me.

Yes, but I'm merely the fly that buzzes around 2gns collective ear and occasionally lands in their food for a quick taste. Annoying, but not something you care about 10 minutes later.
