ok.
ill see what i can do.
-----------
ive think i narrowed my todo list to this.
timing belt.
water pump.
tensioner.
lip kit.
eyelids
retint windows. ( they dont look good.plus front 2 arent tinted. )
Megan Coilovers.
RT or these rims im greatly interested in rite now.
thats it besides you basic energy suspension bushings..booger bushings. and try to get a custom turbo kit going. and upgraded clutch.and i need new rotors at the moment.
thats a short list. that im sure wont cost me much. plus etc things like gauges..radiator gap cover..Door sill plates.

r/tguy02, you're right- I was thinking only of the fact that the Kicker will fit in any 2GN's trunk cavity, not about the wiring harness (dang it, will I always be such a noob?). neonpla, keep us posted, I'm interested in how to retrofit when one of these units didn't come stock.r/tguy02 wrote:i just purchased one of these myself for my r/t, from what the guy said, the black and red are your + and - and the other 4 wires will match up to your rear speaker wires, color for color. I'll be installing it here next week so i can give you all the info once its done if you'd likeneonpla wrote:no it will not, it will fit physically with no problem but the harness for it is part of the main body harness so you will have to wire it up your self .

As for a CAI and believe me I spent enough time screwing with one that is a good fit for the NGC mags this is what I came up with:
1 Stock Airbox
K&N cone (forgot PN it might be the drop in)
Pull the resinator and elbow. You can fab up a little bracket from sheet metal to hold the air temp sensor from the elbow
Hard bellows tube (any muffler shop can make you one.
Get a pack of extra thick self adhesive wetherstrip from home depot and run it around the out side lip of the airbox(The lid stays off) Make sure your hood sits down far enough that this will seal if not you might have to run another layer on the hood itself.
If you wish go to the craft store and get a few packages of gold leaf and line the airbox with gold foil (CDC sells self adhesive gold foil for stuff like this its pretty expensive but much easier I have yet to get an airbox to come out right but Im not much for arts and crafts
)
Air tems as low or lower than a CAI no elongation of the intake tract and no way to ingest water plus your total bill will be less than $100

Uhh that sounds like idk on the intake crafting.. I coould just always buy a ebay intake and use a aem filter on it and call it a day on that.. I'm at work rite now but later I'm gonna see if the parts department is still open at the dealership and order the lip kit. I hope the car looks as good as I'm picturing it on my mind rite now..u well see as the months come and go.

Argh, don't shortcut this car. Get good parts, once. Get an AEM if you get one. Or you can just take out the resonator box, either way.
Order the coils tonight. LK, tonight. Intake tonight. MOST CERTAINLY, get the Timing Belt, and Water Pump. Do the serpentine belts, just to get it outta the way. Hell, order a cam and do it ALL at one time.

To reflect radiant heat. Spray adhesive and aluminum foil works well. Just doing the bottom of the air box and not the lid it isn't really visable, so rice is not a huge worry.LilSparkPlug wrote:What is the purpose of this gold foil you speak of?
I did it to mine before I went to the Ghetto IM set up. All you can see is the lid, which I retained. It was color matched to the car tho.
It does haz funktion, so that cancels out any rice effect.

Probably shouldn't listen to anything your penis says, that guy's a dick.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.Patience, of course, is a very powerful weapon, but sometimes I start to regret that it is not a firearm.
