x2. I don't care for them when they look like an afterthought. I put mine on because I was planning to do what Crystal, and Brodie did. Complete the theme. But now with the hood I want being nearly impossible to find, I've decided to go in another direction.

I doubt it. Most online car parts sellers don't list every cars' years correctly. No eyelid can fit on a 00-02 AND an SRT. Not possible.Haganracing wrote:Not to hyjack the thread, but will these eyelids work on my 2002 neon headlights.

But yeah, those eyelids are for 03+. So they won't fit your car, Chris.
But why deal with vinyl? Go with some fiberglass ones.

If you want stripes do it. People differ on opinions and the type. Just make sure u match colors correctly so that it doesn't look like do-do

I am confused about what color of stripes to get. The Neon is dark amethyst which is slightly purple in the bright sun. Was thinking black but thought that might wash out in less light. Then thought about pewter, would contrast with the purple tint and the darker blue in low light. Thoughts anyone? Know I will get flamed on this one, but everyone is entitled to their opinion.

yes you are. so if you are set on getting them then i would say black would be a good choice, cause with the satin black contrast it would add a nice subtle touch without being too overwhelming on its own.

two of my personal reasons to choose vinyl over fiberglass eyelids
1.) cheaper (usually)
2.) no chance of falling off your headlights, and they are not as easy for someone to steal (never know about people)
sure they actually take some "work" to put them on, but if you take your time and use the right materials ( soapy water, hairdryer or heat gun and something to smooth them out ) and patience then there shouldnt be a problem with...

i agree, satin black would look the best if your really set on getting them...and yeah get them from www.revolution-motorsports.com i bought mine from there when i was going to put them on my car, never installed them but they seemed to be great qualitytheTeejmiester wrote:yes you are. so if you are set on getting them then i would say black would be a good choice, cause with the satin black contrast it would add a nice subtle touch without being too overwhelming on its own.

This. Tho if you have silver wheels, the pewter may enhance those.theTeejmiester wrote:yes you are. so if you are set on getting them then i would say black would be a good choice, cause with the satin black contrast it would add a nice subtle touch without being too overwhelming on its own.

the pewter has my interest, and yes silver wheels with machined lip, silver calipers and drums. Snap I want rear discs! Ah but that's for later. You guys are the best in my book. Thanks for ALL the input.
I used you guys collectively, just so the ladies don't think I value their input.
