Sunroof question

Post by FAC3L3SS » Mon Jan 11, 2010 8:04 pm

Those of you with sunroof/moonroofs, post up a picture of your switch on the inside of your car. I swear mine is completely different, and I've not seen a similar one yet. I saw a video from the intro thread and his was automatic. That's not just for the R/T, right? Post up your pics or a little bit of info. I swore mine was OEM, but now I'm wondering if it's not...Was Webasto the manufacturer of the moonroofs we have?

I'll grab one in the next day or two. I've got like a whole little box that comes down and stuff. It's wild.

Are you sure it's stock?
I've seen some aftermarket ones that have a whole mess of switches.

Yeah, so there are 3 people that say the switch is like a window switch. Mine is like a 4x2 box, with some wiring and shit in it. Jesus IDK.

Mine is only one "button." It's like a rocker. Push the top or bottom. My ish must not be stock...at least it doesn't leak or anything!

Ok. My suspicions have been confirmed. My roof is NOT stock. Wrong shape/size, it's flat, the box is way wrong...poo. BUT for an aftermarket roof, it's never leaked (until this winter, from ice) and has been great. Fooled me into thinking it was stock.

Fuuuudddgeeee. Aftermarket it is, then. Ryan pointed out that my switch is wrong, it's not the size roof, and that the glass itself is flat, while OEM ones contour with the roof.
