Anyone here from San Antonio?

Post by Sykora » Tue Jan 12, 2010 11:42 am

Hey guys- I have a job offer from a company about 30 minutes north of downtown San Antonio, my question is, are there any people here from that area, and do you know of any well populated suburbs around?

I'm from Dallas and everything is a suburb basically, but I can't really find anything outside of downtown San Antonio. How's the area like? Thanks

I'm in sa...

where exactly is it?

Stone Oak/1604 area in general is all brand, brand new and booming with new shit. That's really where to live if you're in SA. Although the traffic can be a bitch...much like any city. (Our traffic ain't shit compared to Houston/Dallas though)

Check out the Schertz area... and expect to pay about $1,000 for a decent apartment.

If you are into purchasing a home... check out the Pulte homes that were going up in the same area. Nice places... with everything on the ground floor.

Cool thanks, looks like Stone Oak would be a closer bet since the company is located in Spring Branch somewhere. Is Stone Oak pretty populated? Like are there big stores and people and stuff?

Yeah, stone oak is probably the nicest place to live in right now.

SA has a small town feel in some ways. You can get just about anywhere in 20 minutes or so.
