i need a picture, from a few different angles, looking at a completed strut assembly, particularly the top.... i dont have the correct mopar tool but i want to see if i can fabricate something close to it.... or, has anyone made their own ghetto tool?

im gonna be doing springs on a friends 03 neon soon and i have all of the tools EXCEPT the tool for assembling the top hat to the rest of the strut assembly

A 1/2" drive spark plug socket, a 10mm 3/8"drive socket with a 6" extention and ratchet. Put the extention through the spark plug sopcket, then put the 10mm on it use a cresent wrench around the spark plug socket to loosen the bolt while holding the strut rod with the 3/8" drive ratchet. I don't know how to post pics but if you send me your e-mail I can send one that way.

as long as your not retarded, you can use a vise grip on the VERY top of the strut shaft.
Justin- I have nothing but smart ass remarks to add.
