NEED HELP ASAP NO CLUTCH

Post by InfinityAudio » Sun Jan 17, 2010 1:25 pm

I recently bought an srt-4 and it had an modifed clutch system wich means the hose aren't at the same place. it looks like the slave cylinder is in the transmission.

this morning starts the car the pedal goes directly to the floor. Check the litlle clutch bottle under the hood no more fluid. put some nothing better happend so I am trying to figure what he did with the cylinder.

Damn, it looks like a throwout bearing/slave cyl set up. IIRC McLeod sells them. Unfortunately you may have to remove the trans to acess it. IDK what kind of inspection cover the T850 has. if it would even let you near it. :(

Patience, of course, is a very powerful weapon, but sometimes I start to regret that it is not a firearm.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.

Step 1: You can't just top it off and expect it to work, you need to bleed it as well. Use the bleed port there. It's just like bleeding brakes.

Someone's installed a hydraulic throw out bearing. You will need to check the line for leaks, if it's the actual bearing leaking it will be wet in the bellhousing.
