 A CTS-V Coupe. Loved the 4-door model. This looks to be even better.

Can't wait to see the European Focus over here too.

I couldn't sit upright in any of the Caddies at the Indianapolis Auto Show. The raking rooflines look smart from the outside but aren't very practical if you have passengers. Of course, they go fast so who cares, right?

Those look pretty nice. I don't like the front fascia for the focus though. Little rice-inspired i think.

FORD FINALLY FUCKING GETS IT!!!

WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Hopefully the RS is on its way over to. It would make a nice track car and I can daily drive the EVO.

Dam, must be nice to have that kind of money. But I have to agree. The RS in that green color is pure sex. 300hp 6spd. Yum Yum

The Focus RS is nice, but for the price tag it carries (over $40k) I don't think it's going to attract the crowd that it's hefty price tag is in.

The CR-Z is a let down with it's hybrid :(

even at 35k... it will probably fail and go the way of the CSRT4
people would rather buy a evo or STi IMO.

now if its got a much much smaller pricetag... it will go over well

u say that but look at what cars are actually competing in WRC, the focus RS not the STi or EVO. Its a proven competitor.

Tho I do also agree with you in the fact that as a daily driver i would rather have an STI or EVO rather than a focus. It will take the US public awhile to recognize the RS on the level of the STI or EVO.

Also for the price tag, people aren't going to want FWD when they can have AWD.

There will be a few diehards like MoxHair, but not enough. Prices will need to down to compete.

I love the power of the CTSV but the clutch on them is so weird!! the clutch is in and 2 mm less and its full engaged. Its like a race clutch but so easy to push in. Also foot E brake on manual car FTL.

1. CR-Z = fail. What's the point of doing a hybrid if it only gets 36mpg?

2. Focus: Not too bad. Looks like it may be too big for the market, like what Honda has done with the Civic.

3. MKX: Not my kind of car, but it doesn't look too bad. Good power and Sync FTMFW.

4. E-Class: Interesting convertible idea, but sounds silly. Why get a convertible if you don't want a convertible?

5. Mustang: It's about damn time they put some power in the base and GT models.

6. CTS-V: sex, but I do see what David is talking about with the roof line.

If I could of gotten a Focus RS at the time I bought my MS3 or EVO I would of. The Focus has a terrible name here in the US, but over seas it has a huge following and is seen as a true rally inspired car more so than the EVOs and STIs.

There isn't anything wrong with FWD.

Plus the REVO Knuckles in the RS make the car a world beater when it comes to handling and overall performance.

The new focus is win. It's gonna be a toss up between that and the new fiesta. Although since they shit canned the two tone dash in the fiesta it makes me reconsider. That was a hot looking interior.

Yeah, I've heard that the clutch takes some getting used to, but I think I could easily make an exception!

The Focus is going to move up market similar to what the Civic did just before the Fit came here. The new Focus will be more money but it's obviously going to be a great looking car. Plus the Festiva is only "cheap" if you get it with nothing in it. They make PILES of dough getting it to where a nice daily driver would be. I built one on the website and was at $21K before I knew it.

I know the new Focus is going to turn heads and really bring the under 30 crowd in for sure. Ford really has their shit together anymore. They are actually giving people what they have been asking for and it's paying off. The only downside is that their partner Mazda is going to take an initial hit on sales when the new models hit the lots. The 3 is a great selling car but the redesign is a bit off-puting for some. I can see people who originally bought the old 3 new looking at the Focus if they want to keep in the same neighborhood of vehicle.

Ford certainly has their shit together car wise, whether or not their trucks has their shit together remains to be seen.

I haven't been impressed with Ford's car lineup until I drove the Fusion and now that the Focus and Festiva is coming to the US it will be even better.

The heavy-light duty trucks tanked with the 6.0 diesel and they have been trying to catch up ever since. If they did the 6.7L diesel correct they will have a winner, it just needs to be reliable because it certainly will have the power (390hp/720ft-lbs)

Comfortable as hell too.

I drove one for 7 hours straight and only stopped to go to the bathroom about mid trip. If I didn't have to pee I wouldn't have stopped.

I also drove from from Dallas to Sweetwater and back (8 hours round trip)

Actually, I didn't pick it. I tried to tell them I was too big for the Prius, but their logic was that I fit in a Neon so I should fit in the Prius.

Sadly they were wrong.

I was trying to get them to put me in a Jetta diesel with a 5 speed. They wanted fuel economy so I was trying to give them fuel economy.
