new running lights

so i went down to autozone and got some white leds. one of the flexible strips. and i mounted it to the front bumper in place of the sire markers illumination. kinda like the r8 and lsp and probably others.. but here they are let me know what ya think

You definately got to have it set up where you can control the LED's and make the car talk.

Is that legal? Is it going to be on when the headlights are on also? Looks kind of strange to me, but maybe that's just the photo.

i think its legal.. i drove by a cop with them on and didnt get pulled over.. and ya they are gonna be on any time the side markers would be on.

As a LEO in CA, I dont see anything wrong with it, other than looking kind of tacky.

Forward facing lights can indeed be amber or white.

Does CA not have a limit on how many forward facing lights a car can have? I know many states have a 6 light limit (Low, High, Fog). Marker or running lights are kind of a gray area around here.

CA only limits the number of 'bright' forward facing lights. IE, headlights, highbeams, fog lights, driving lights. With those to can have a max of 4 lights, or two sets. Except for Highbeams, which require all other forward facing 'bright' lights to be off for use.

hmm, im not really a fan of it man

i like underglow but to me that just seems like stickin glow out so u can see the tube

honestly i dont think u need any extra lights up front, yer car looks good as is, just maybe some hids

Any why cut out the grill, but leave the little stubs on the sides?
