Bi-Xenon

Post by heydockyle » Wed Jan 20, 2010 11:12 pm

For any of you guys running bi-xenons. Do the hi and low seem to work right?

On mine the low beam looks like the high beam, and the high beam looks like the low beam?

The high beam is more of a concentrated light pointing only on the road.
The low beam shoots up much higher lighting up farther, and lighting up more trees and shit.

That's what it seems like, but it's impossible.

The connector that moves the bulb in and out only plugs in one way. I tried reversing the high beam and low beam wire around, but that didn't change anything for some reason??

Also, when my low beams are on, the bulb goes down. When I turn my highs on, the bulb comes out.

Swap the blue and white wires in the blue connector on the harness it's pinned for a 9004 not a 9007.

So the wires are swapped between 9004 and 9007? Interesting. I know the plugs are the same for both and I assumed the pins were in the same places :-k
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

Guess not. The middle wire and an outside wire need switched.

I've found it on my boyfriends Durango, the Neon and the SXT....every harness I've bought has had the same issue so I'm assuming all 9007s are pinned differently and that these are pinned for a 9004.
