Best and Worst day in your life and for you car(s)?

Don't know if this one is done but thought I'd try it...(lock if done before)

But tell us your best and worst day in your life up until now and the best and worst day in regards to you car...try and seperate so you have 2 good and 2 bad days (1 good/bad for life and 1 good/bad for car)

I just thought this one would be a fun and revealing thing to do...so anyone willing to share first?

Worst Day - Night I got my license. Almost crashed at 110mph. Stupid kid. Slowed me down for the rest of my life.

Best Day - Not real sure. Probably a day of riding quad or dirtbike with friends from a while ago.

Best Car day would be the day I got my orange car on the road after rebuilding it for a couple months.

Worst Car day would be when it rolled into the trailer jack and smashed the front in.

No because I don't love my 1gn quite as much as my orange car. Orange car is my first car, and it's like my little kid.
When my dad pulled the truck and trailer down into the yard and I watched my car smash into the trailer jack

Nothing is worse then watching your own car wreck.

Best day of my life (tie):
1) September 18th, 1995. I was in Hamilton, Ontario for the Canadian Country Music Awards prime-time broadcast and got to have my picture taken with George Fox (his "Time of My Life" TV special later that year was and may still be the highest-rated show ever in Canada). The photo was later published in the CCMA's newsletter.

His personal assistant forwarded the photo to Mr. Fox a year later when I was in Calgary, Alberta for the 1996 awards show and it is framed and proudly hanging on the wall in my dining room;

2) August 6th, 2009. I got a package from Jason- the Carlisle banner with everyone's birthday wish and the "Gramps' walker" t-shirt.

Worst day of my life (tie):
1) Veteran's Day, 2003 when my '02 SXT got totalled;
2) Last Thursday when my SRT was in an accident.

Best day for my car: July 11th, 2008. You 2GN'ers voted my car "Best Stock" at Carlisle- thanks again for the honor!

Worst day for my car: Again, last Thursday.

Best day: I would have to say.. When i got 3rd place in the world championships for soap box derby back in 2002

Worst day: Having to be the first person to know that my grandfather passed away at age 16 and having to call my dad and let him know his own father passed away...

Best day with car: When i found out how roomy the back seat was with my gf

Worst day with car: When those assholes playing football in the school parking lot decided not to care about anyones car and the football they threw around ended up denting the shit out of my roof..

Best Car Day: Buying / Driving her home from Hummel's Wharf PA.

Worst Car Day: Waking up to the car alarm at 4am and finding she'd been hit.

Best car day: Walking into the Dodge dealer and putting down the cash on my SRT-8. Or the same dealer and bought my SRT-4.

Worst car day: My 98 r/t gave up the ghost and forced me to get my Challenger out of her heated garage for the rest of this winter.

Best Day: Graduating from OCS and my commission in the USMC. Will soon be replaced when I get my wings.

Worst Day: The day I found out that my girlfriend was a huge whore...

Worst: When my 05 decided to shoot a spark plug out of the cylinder head on new years eve, making me 0-3 in neon land.

Best: When I went 13.5@103 on a 65 shot in my 98 neon.

Worst Life day: I don't really know, If I had to pick, probably 2 and a half weeks ago, when I found out my now ex-girlfriend was sleeping with a 26 year old.

Worst day: See below lol

Car
Worst day: Getting caught in a flash flood (8in of rain in 3hr). Car hydrolocked as I was pulling into a gas station for high ground. Stranded at said station for 4 hours before we realized tow trucking was shut down across the city. Had to walk home 4 miles in the rain, flood to find out we had no power.
Best day: Starting my engine after rebuilding the bottom end (from above) after 3days work in my apartment parking lot.

Chris: well, long story is...it had a oil leak from the back of the head along with an oil leak from a sensor on the back of the block. That isn't the main problem as I just put oil in in ever few weeks and kept running it. Next, it blew a steel brake line near the right rear wheel in the hard line so it would need to be replaced to ever hold brake pressure again. That made it really fun to drive with just using foot pressure to stop the car. Next, it blew a radiator line to the heater core so it has no heat and leaks coolant. Since it has a head gasket problem the oil seeps into the coolant and the coolant mixes with the oil...

That being said I gave it to my brother to see if he can fix it and he is going to sell it. It has new shocks, ball joints, tie rods, brakes/rotors, radiator and hoses, and maybe some random stuff I can't remember. She isn't a great car by any means but she was a great winter car for 5 years. Somehow it still runs like a beast and no one knows how.

Car:

Worse day June 16th, 2008 when I almost lost all the work I had done to my car in an accident.

Best day June 26th, 2009 when I finally got to put all my work on my car to the test.

Life:

Worse day was every day after the next while working at my last job. Glad I don't work there anymore... it was bad enough that the thermometer place looked like a step up...

Best day is tough because I have two runner ups and both were more like weeks. First runner up was my road trip to Laguna Seca to see the Speed World Challenge in 2002. And the second runner up was my week long birthday celebration this last year where everyday my best bud and I would wine and dine in places I normally couldn't afford ($100/plate places).

Worst Car Day: When I was backing out of a parking space in high school and a guy decided to keep driving by not lettin me out and i hit the back of his truck cause I didnt see him. passenger back quarter is still messed up, touch up painted for now.

Best day with car: getting 2nd place at madera car show and when I drove out of the driveway lowered for the first time.
Worst day with car: when she sat for 1 month due to hole in oil pan

Worst day (Roush): When a girl at school backed into it.

Best day (Neon): When I finally got all of the transmission and suspension stuff fixed.
Worst day (Neon): When the transmission oil pump went out, followed by most of the suspension.

Best day of my life, so far: Finding out that I will actually graduate from college in the fall, and not have to take another semester!
Worst day of my life, so far: Probably when I totaled my 2001 Neon, and got screwed over on it by Geico.

worst day: The day my 01 Focus was stolen with my 12 000 dollar rouch racing modded motor in it and they blew the thing into the atmosphere.

Best day in Life: The Day I met my Fiance.

worst in life: The day I had to shoot the young boy in afganistan cause he had a gun and would not listen to the commands to drop it and I made the snap decission that I wanted to live and go home...he was only 7'ish
