Possible end to an era...

Longs story short, I parked my car in front of my buddy's house while we went out, which means parking on the side of a fairly busy street. He ends up getting a call from his aunt telling him that my car got hit, as we race back to my car hoping it was at the most someone taking out my mirror we see firetrucks, an ambulance and cops blocking off all of the surrounding intersections. As i walk up to what looks to be a ford pickup eating my neon I notice that my car was pushed 10ft. from its original location.

Now after all was said and done and the cops left with the truck that hit me I was left with this...

So after getting out of class in the morning I have to scramble to get my car towed and see what they say about getting a rental while they decide whether or not to fix it.

BTW I thought this car was totalled once before but my insurance company helped me revive it. Sorrily I don't believe this to be nearly the same.

Wow!!!

Was the guy who hit your car drunk? Or just one of those idiots on the road that the DMV gave a licences to after failing 8 times??

Holy shit, your car isn't coming back. To fix that damage, it would cost more than the car is worth by a good bit.

Sorry to hear about the neon, really glad you weren't in or even around that car when it got hit!

not drunk but from what this lady's husband told be had caterak (spelt wrong) problems that he never realized was that bad. she was carted off to the hospital and they are doing a tox screen to see if she was on any meds... btw she hit a benz up the block before hitting me ...

... only wishful thinking about repairing it ... i always said i would drive her till she died and tonight she died alone lol... hopefully i can get my hands on an srt now

Damn. Sorry to see what happened to your car. Hopefully whatever happens as far as your insurance goes in your favor.

If you have full coverage on that then it should automatically be totaled. As tooo how much you'll get depends on your insurance.. but yeah there's no bringing that neon back. Just start looking for another car. There's too much damage to try and fix it.

Gladly no one was hurt.. sucks tho.

Insurance should come through in your favor...besides it should go under the person who hit it insurance.. so your insurance shouldn't even have to cover it..or I don't think. I can't remember how it works..

ya just got the official word from the body shop that is going to pick up my car... they already told me that from the pix the car is totalled and to tell my insurance company.

Hopefully i get the check soon so that i can go out shopping for a fun new toy.

Thanks bro ... got the call to go to the shop and grab what i left behind (sub, amp, and custom 3rd brakelight that i want back)

Found a possible replacement, silver '04

but this one comes equipped with a clutch...
