I had the Export tails at one time, just not on the car. I have the cargo net but haven't installed it, I have no trunk carpet :\. I could take a picture of it but I don't think that would help much if it's not in the car.

thats not how u wire them. You cross two wires on mfs and tap into third brake light. There is a howto on here.

I looked. Hard. Find it, I couldn't.
1st Gen is easy, snip the yellow wire under the steering wheel at the top of the column. Brakes from center mount light. Split off the blinker and done. Half hour's work.

Good to know. I was going to finish that tonight but I'll put a 2.4 short block together instead. Heat is on in the garage, I have to get moving on a long list of things to do.

Wonderful. Electrical is not my field of expertise. I can rebuild an engine in the dark, drunk and with one hand tied behind my back. I spent 2 hours looking at the service manual trying to find a way to do that, couldn't make any sense out of it. LOL! Thanks.

well john, you're one of the few then. they even labelled it for us! people have used the cup holder when i was parked. i've had people ask where the cup holders were in the back and i just say "pass it up here." that cup holder sucks....

I've used both the tissue holder and the rear cupholder. Both work fine although the cupholder won't hold as big of a drink as the fronts

My head flows just fine thankyouverymuch! Yay Magnum :D

I know what you mean though. But that was a "big" selling point when the 2nd gen was released. The Neon was chock full of "driver conveniences"

Yes, this car had export tails before, I thought so. There were taps and connectors on the MFS. I could see them when I adjusted the tilt column down to the bottom. I'm guessing Jason had them at some point. However, isn't it normal for the side markers in the front fascia to blink? Doing it the way you wrote in that other thread, they no longer blink. Everything else works perfectly.

Only on 1st gens. 2nd gen side markers dont blink, unless modded to do so.

I learned something new, hot damn, thanks. I would actually like them to blink, hard to see the front blinker from the side. Now I have one more minor thing to do someday.

I thought maybe I pooched something when I did the tails. I de-pinned the sockets as needed and used other pigtails to keep from cutting any wires. Electrical is not my friend.....

I would also - but tissues here in germany have a different size and won't fit. :(
