Why would you want two different struts on the car? Especially when the backs are adjustable and the fronts aren't.
I'd get matching struts.
I'd get matching struts.

I would just wait and do it right. Not only are the capabilities of the struts mismatched, but so could be the valving.

Not to mention the other obvious flaws...
the front struts blew out a year ago, so there's a good chance the rears are worn out as well and will also blow out soon.
Then there's the whole "buying performance struts and not using them for anything but DD use" issue...
I can think of much better ways to waste 250 bucks, really.

Wow. So you have no clear plan with the car, bought a mismatched set of struts against the advice of people here who know a helluva lot about the topic, and you still see nothing wrong there?
Impressive...

wait, wait, wait...
So you bought a set of struts that you will have to replace soon anyways because you will need the higher strut perches?

wow.. if you spend that much on struts and springs then its crap.
i wouldnt spend that much on a mismatched setup.
you can get some pretty good lowering springs on ebay and call it a day.
that setup your buying is probably going to last you like a week if that.
good luck i guess.

But why ask for opinions if you were already set in buying it? That part makes NO sense at all. What difference does it make if it's a good deal or not if you're going to buy it anyways? That is a complete waste of time, and now you've just wasted money on a beater by not listening to us.
This whole thread is very full of fail...

Garbage Setup is Garbage.
Tein S-Techs are too low and take away from the rebound ability of the struts to work correctly.
Miss-matching struts will really make the car unbalanced as the characteristics of the suspension will be different from front to back. When weight transfers the car will react unpredictably. Which is very bad. There are probably a million other reasons but you probably won't listen anyways.
If you want to autocross you do not want 17" wheels on a neon. You want something with enough sidewall to absorb some wheelspin mid corner, but has a stiff enough sidewall not to roll over. I say use a wheel and tire combo similar to what the ACR SRT came with from the factory.
