01 R/T for $700

Post by strykr » Mon Feb 08, 2010 9:26 pm

I was looking online and came across a 01 R/t for sale for $700, its in need of a head gasket and has roughly 215 000 km's

Is this a good price or..? Because I have been wanting to get R/T for a few yrs now.. well mainly the mechanical parts.. my neon doesnt have any real probelms or even rust for that matter...

Thats not a bad price at all. Most people don't wanna worry with the head gasket and thats why they sell them cheap.

Yeah if all you wanted was the mech parts then it's a great deal. Whatever you don't use I'm sure you could sell, probably break even when all is said and done.

For 700$ it's hard to go wrong.

1. It's really not that much money.

2. Can make a good profit depending how bad of shape the car is in.

3. I always look at it like this. Is the body worth the price. I don't get too stressed with anything else because that stuff is the easy stuff ( motor trans interior ect. )

also if it's a car that you've been wanting fir a while then I would go for it. BUT BEWARE with online scammers.

Good luck with w/e you do.

used magnum head alone is good for $350...
What kinda shape is the car in? A driveable R/T in book is definately worth the money...
