So today at about 8:30 was heading to school and was getting on the off ramp about 1 mile from the college. My cars ass end slid out from underneath me and I played the counter steer but could not fully recover. unfortunately good all season tires are not good in black ice situations. The driver behind me slide right off the road into the snow bank, while I partially recovered enough to hit a snow bank and launch the car enough to roll on its roof and slide about 20 feet down the road. The ride lasted about ten seconds and was over before I could register what happened. I got out the neon and grabbed my pop tarts and went to check on the other driver. in the mean time several people stopped to call 911 and were staring at me like how could you be alive after that. The other guy was okay though just a bit traumatized about what happened. When police arrived on the scene I pretty much gave them my licenses and other information and went in the ambulance because my hand was badly cut up; Other than minor lacerations to my left hand I walked out okay. I was released from the hospital today around 2:00 and was cleared to return to class for tomorrow. thank god for this I was wearing my seatbelt.

I will be posting pics up tomorrow when i get the car back from the towing company in pleasantville at 2:00 ish.

No the car will not be parted out because the engine still runs. I'm currently looking for a replacement shell to swap the engine over. if anyone has information on a 2003+ gray, blaze red, or black shell or a black first gen shell please let me know the closer to jersey the better.

I know exactly what you mean about the seat belt. When I rolled and totaled my old '98 Civic, the only injury I had was a huge bruise on my shoulder from the seatbelt. Glad to hear you're ok, though. Ah, the great north, snow is fun for all
