ok why doe females have to be so damn confusing? i have been split up from my x fiancee for over 3 yrs now and out of no where i get an email stating this:

"Hey, just thought I’d see how things were going for you. I’d have to say that there is one thing that I really miss most about you, is that when I was ever upset about anything, you always tried to help comfort me. I really did appreciate that and miss it a great deal!!"

WTF?????

You have two ways to go with that...

1) consider it spam and ignore

2) reply back and express the same level of "interest"

I went with option 2 once... and got burned.

Depends on the type of person you are as to what you should do with this...I would respond but I wouldn't be very friendly. Though prolly the right thing to do would be to not answer.

Sounds like shes going through a rough spurt and wants to use you as comfort until her life picks up... I also bet not responding and not showing her interest will only make her want you more. Women are so crazy! They truly don't know what they want!

i have had the same thing happen to me.... i had been broke up with my ex fience for about four years.... out of the blue she emails me (after i JUST started another relationship, i enjoyed being single for those four years

) saying almost the same thing, wondering how the cat was, (she wanted her, i kept her) and even how my car was going, (she never gave a shit when she was with me) wondering if i had a dress that she had warn along time ago?? i was like all ur stuff is at your moms house.... (mind u she then lived in california, with her husband, and three year old kid by then) needless to say she moved fast.....

I'm telling you they want what they can't have. your in a relationship so she wants you, now your ignoring her and she realizes she can't even talk to you... I don't think theres anything you can do. Her life will get better eventually and I bet as soon as that happens she leaves you alone again.

no kidding.... i had found out alot about her when she left.. before we went our separate ways she had slept with three different guys while at college (that i am atleast aware of).... and she was pregnant with a guy that she met three times, and two months after we broke up.... i look at it as a great thing, if i was the guy who got her preggers i would of had to deal with her for the rest of my life.... now i have a girl that honestly treats me better than any girl EVER has... i am very greatfull that it turned out that way...

as for the OP i would say just let her go, move on, and if she emails you back again, just put it in your spam folder... if she is like my ex she will start to try to bring back GOOD old memorys... just delete the messages.... i bet it will work out for the best! there is no sence in getting hurt again, i have always been a firm believer if it did not work out the first time it will not work out ever, hence why i have NEVER gotten back togther with an ex.
