FL Panhandle Neon Noob

Had this car for a bit and actually started getting interested in to what was out there for it. Been lurking around for a few days but with a tax return around corner I have been bitten by the bug and the the itch is flaring! So here it is in all it's glory.

It's a 2003 R/T. I've done little beyond changing the oil and tinting the windows. It currently has 88000 exactly (I watched it turn as I hit my street tonight) and is throwing the P340 code at me. I'd love to really make this car into something and after reading all the build reports, stumbling through the garages, and bouncing through the threads, I don't think there's any place I'd rather start my maiden voyage into wrench turning.

Good ole Panama City, it's actually where I'm stationed. I've lived everywhere around the world but I suppose I mostly from a small town up north in Indiana. Thanks for the kind words I look forward to learning a lot from everyone.

Nah I don't mind at all. I grew up in Connersville, a little town outside of Richmond and across from Oxford, OH in Fayette County. Weird that you have both a Florida/Indiana connection like me as well as the whole Neon thing. Spooky!

Connersville- you know about Carbon Motors moving into the former Visteon plant there, right? My part-time employer has its headquarters in Connersville. I kind of ended up in FL by chance when I was 19, just stuck out my thumb and ended up there. As far as the Neon connection goes, great minds think alike!

I'd say first mod is to lower the car on springs, then remove the door moldings, mopar lip kit, then black housing headlights.
