any hard clancking when you hit a bump... i forgot to put mine in, so i had to take apart twice and install them. basically what will happen is the strut base will hit the top strut cup (metal slamming against metal)

You'll blow your struts faster since you'll bottom out your struts a lot easier since there won't be anything there to prevent the shaft from traveling down far down within the strut housing. It should ride just as it does without when you're driving down the road but hitting bumps is when there will be a difference. If you don't want to blow your struts you're going to have to be very carefull what kind bumps you hit so you don't slam the shaft down into the bottom of the strut housing.

Hahaha, how the hell is he sitting on them. He already said he took them out

To make a long story short, when I changed the struts on my old Escort the bump stops were never re-installed. That was over 5 years ago and the car is still riding with the same setup. I don't stop or slow down for railway tracks or speed bumps. It rides perfectly fine, you may notice the body leans a bit more in hard cornering where it would normally be compressing the stops. Other than that, as long as the struts are in good shape you have no problems that you wouldn't encounter other wise.

i my self know all about the bump stops.
when i lowered my car the first time with 1ST GEN goldlines i cut the bumpstop, struts started leaking with in 2HRs of normal road driving. i raised it back up for a bit then the 2ND time i droped it i got new bumpstops and did not cut them. i have been driving this way now for about 9 months now and the struts are not leaking YET..
