new from western MA

Post by turbonick » Fri Feb 12, 2010 4:16 pm

whats up everyone? my name is nick, im 22. picking up a '00 neon tomorrow and diving into the srt-4 swap!
currently i have an '05 jeep wrangler, 4.0, 6 speed, 3" suspension, 1" body, 33" pro comp's, banks cat back, and stupid other stuff - made my own bumpers, rack, backet, etc...
i have an 88 dodge shadow ES 2 door - started as a T1, bored .020 and balanced stock lower end, custom ported Overboost Motorsports stage 5 head, custom valve springs, custom t3/t4 turbo, stage 5 cal, +40's, 8lb flywheel, custom made 6 puck clutch, getrag 555 trans, made my own 3" turbo-back exhaust, stripped it out, welded my own cage, lots of other little things... and i painted it camo. if anyone is around the springfield, ma area you may have seen me... unless the camo worked.. lol i am selling the motor out of the shadow, selling the shell, selling my 4 door shell, and all the parts i have for the 80's turbo cars.
I'M GONNA BE A DAD! so i am building this 4 door neon with a stock srt-4 swap so i can have a nice, reliable car when i need to be responsible and when the kid is with his/her (find out the 17th) mother, i can still have a turbo car to play with hahaha

that's what i like about the TD community. old, new, built in your dirt driveway, or built in a million dollar shop... people repect the work of others. i have some subaru friends and vw friends and i hear a lot of s*** talking between them all if they dont like the other kid's car. it's cool to be part of a group of people who recognize the saying "to each his own"

thanks for the welcome everyone!
