snake shopping

Post by Ntyvirus1 » Tue Feb 16, 2010 5:43 pm

well the National Breeder's Expo is comin to Daytona in August and i thinik it's about time I expand my little zoo. As some of you know I already have 3 scorpions ( a pair of emperors and a desert hairy) a white's tree frog and my newest baby is a male california kingsnake i got for christmas. Im lookin at gettin another snake but im having a hard time figuring out the right species for me. The things i have to take into consideration are a) no venomous ( dont have a year to log 1k hours of experience in order to get the permit) b) no ball pythons ( everybody has them and if i wanted one badly i could snag one from craigslist for mad cheap). Im open to other pet ideas but they need to fit into an aquarium type tank. thnx for your help guys.

try kenyan sand boas.....cool as hell stay pretty small for a boa (like maybe a foot or so) are beautifully colored ...or depending if ya dont mind getting bit once in awhile check out amazon tree boas...many colors to choose from dont need alot of space....tho they are climbers so a tall rather then long enclosure is required...good luck in what ever ya pick
