Hell yeah! How long did it take you guys? I might end up going that route with my Stage 3.

I don't think you answered me before..are you going with the bigger exhaust wheel too?

Took about 3 hours. I was somewhat dreading it because of the weather, but a friend brought over a torpedo heater which made it a lot more bearable.

I'm just going with the compressor wheel for now.

So I stopped by LCR today just to find out that I will be receiving a prototype anti-surge inlet

I didn't even know I was getting it

Parts should be done this week according to Adam. I can't wait. I'm dying to get the car on the road now that the weather is warming up. Oh, and there will be new powder work too, thank God. The old stuff was done by a buddy who was just getting into P-coating and it wasn't very good. I'm gonna change it up a bit while I'm at it

Not right now you don't. It's a mess, inside and out

Those are taking a lot longer than I anticipated, but they're still in the works. Life has sort of slowed everything down as of late. Now that the weather is getting nicer, and I'm getting some life stuff back in order they should get moving again.

Got my solid shifter bushings installed today along with my LCR clutch pivot. Feels good to work on the car again after almost 6 months!

Also, these arrived the other day.

Image

The bulbs were custom made by my manufacturer in China and the Neon badge was just a plain Jane chrome badge that I murdered out. I was trying to find a 1st gen badge, but it seems like they're getting pretty hard to find at this point :(

Picked up the turbofold from LCR today too. Looks sweet! I'll snap a pic tomorrow before I start to install it. The rest of the parts are just waiting for powder coat. I should have them by Saturday from what they told me. I can't wait to drive the car again after all is said and done!

edit: Here's the inside of the mani. It's all ceramic coated and ready to install. I'm gonna get cracking on re-install 1st thing tomorrow

Good stuff man. Where are you going to place the neon lettering? Trunk?

Where are the LED bulbs going?

Take a lot of picts of the turbo with the LCR work. :)

I added a pic of the mani. I'll take plenty of the turbo when it comes back

The badge will go on the trunk in the stock location.

The bulbs are for my custom tails that I'm re-doing this year. I wasn't 100% happy with them when I made them last year, and when I went to take them apart to adjust them, I cracked one of the lenses :( I'm getting a new set in the next week or so though, so I'll be back on them soon.

Here's where I left 'em.

You need a clear set of lenses from a set of "euro" tails or something similar. Like these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/DODGE-NE ... ccessories

Then it's just a matter of masking and painting the areas that you want red or tinted

oh lol never thought of that lol yeah i love the way mine look but 5% tint and almost no light out put from the tails i needed to figure some thing out. looks awsome btw.

with you pvo spoile how many layers of fiber glass were used in it and how hard was yours to mold i have the ebay one fitment is about 7/10 and molding it was a bit harder due to the ship them to fast they dont let them cure completly, got mine and it was still super flexable still

The PVO on my old trunk was only one layer and it was super flexible. It fit pretty well (8 or 9/10), but was so paper thin that I reinforced it with expanding foam to give it more rigidity once installed.

Molding it wasn't hard, it was just a lot of work :(

There is a sign that I pass every day on my way to work. It's an off-white and says:

"Junk cars.

Interior.

Metal.

522-WIGG"

I never grab a pic of it, but it reminds me of a short balding man

J/K, but srsly, I see that sign. In for more pics of what you do. Then we'll battle Mewtwos.
