headlight chime

Post by LyricsNLines » Wed Feb 17, 2010 9:36 am

When I used to turn my car off and remove the key, If my headlights were left on, I would get the warning chime. Now I do not! What controls the chime? fuse?

Does the odometer/door message come on when you open the door too? Does it chime when the key is left in the ignition and you open the door?

The chime is also located in the cluster, if I'm not mistaken.

I fixed this problem, the door indication did show on the dash. The problem was the button in the door well when you open the door. It was missing its screw show it was not properly grounded! I got my chime back!
