Your point being? I could give two shits about manufacturers. I was saying I've driven both of these cars, and they are superior to the Neon IMO. Also, I've got a soft spot for Minis, so I'd have a tough time giving up a Mini for a Soul.

a new trans at like 65 000 that costs $8000 to fix and a motor going at 74000 doesn't sound more superior to me... plus an original price that is about double a Neon... not superior. I still like minis though for some reason...
Can't use one to judge the whole lot.

we like the mini but we're leary it might crap out and that means no rental, out for however long, have to take it 60+ miles, and hope it doesnt crap out again because no more warranty. ill be getting a brand new car +10 year warranty for $13000

i should have asked how do u guys like this new kia soul, i would never base a decision on what ppl say on the internet or where ever, just what me and the wife decide.

I think you made a proper choice as long as you plan on keeping the Kia until it's paid off or at least until you are out from under it. I would not have chose the ones with the graphics and such but the leather and the wheels are a nice bonus on that black one.

I know one of the people who helped design the Soul. It was designed in California as a cool people mover. I have not driven one but they look cool for what they are and you can't beat the warranty so drive the piss out of it and enjoy yourself while doing it. Not everyone needs a corner carver or a tire burner.
