 Yeah those things are a royal PITA. They're not fun to play with and I haven't found an easy way to slip them off other than using a pry bar and spraying some WD40 between the rubber and hanger and see if that helps. Once you get it over the little bump on the end of the hanger they slide off, it's getting it started that can be a pita.

Last time I went to the pick and pull and picked a midpipe I just took the reciprocating saw to the rubber hanger.

WD-40 and some upper body muscle are what I use :)

I can have them all off in about 3 mins, so no excuses.

Sounds good at idle but it gets raspy at high rpm, especially cold.

I have the rear section off my car, sounds good once its warmed up. People always look at my car when i pull in and have that "is that a neon?" look

But yeah, the rubber things... WD-40 and pull!

A curved pry bar helps a lot, but they are a pain in the ass on ever car.

if the hangers are going to be replaced, a sharp knife works nicely, otherwise put some gloves on and pull

I pulled the hanger away from the bump on the end of the bar, used a q-tip to spread some cooking oil on the bar and bump then just push/pulled. Wasnt too hard at all.
