He did say "Pain" options.
To get enough paint on there to do any good, you would have $150 worth of rattle cans in it or more. I know, I have done it. But it is a PITA to get it to look good. That narrow spray pattern will leave waves in the thickness. But this was on an off road only wood truck, so it wasn't a huge priority for looks. It has been 5 years, and still holding up, but it was wet sanded, and buffed out, so that goes along way. If I had an air compressor, it prolly would have been easier to use conventional methods, But meh, it got the job done.
For a DD that sees street use, with small bits of road debris, no it won't last. There is no hardener in rattle cans. It will chip, and oxidize.
Waxing would be a weekly requirement.
As for over the border, well I'll just say with rattle cans, you know what you have.

Probably shouldn't listen to anything your penis says, that guy's a dick.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.Patience, of course, is a very powerful weapon, but sometimes I start to regret that it is not a firearm.

350 dollars gets you a good quality hooker. NOT a good quality paint job.alsey_seven wrote:kornholio788 wrote:You don't really care about your car do you?
hmm yes i do car about the car i called around and founda paint shop that will paint the car for 350.00 which is a great price. I have plans on getting her painted in 1-2 months
Put it this way. Quality materials alone for a hole car cost waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy more than 350 dollars for good product.
The paint on my dash board cost more than the "paint job" you got quoted for. I can't even imaging the crap they are going to put on your car. A typical QUALITY price for a complete paint job should run you around 2-3000 bucks.
Having personally painted cars myself I know that if they are actually willing to prep a car and spray it for only 350(that price including product costs) there is no shot in hell they are going to do even a half way decent job. For 350 bucks a normal shop would probably only paint your hood and maby a bumper too. But that is it.

You over paid though. A full gallon of good quality clear will run around 200 and the hardener will be about 100. But that gallon will cover the whole car.heydockyle wrote:The clear just on the front of my car cost $350.
