Actually I used to work in a factory making mufflers, go to your local parts store they sell a flowmaster knockoff that is 100% identical in quality and performance for like 45$
They are made in the same factory and same area just without the brand stamping.
I'd be willing to bet for that amount of money you could find just an entire catback

dont waste that much money on just a muffler. dam. go with a flowmaster or magnaflow muffler. less than $100.

I believe Dan just did this muffler as well, as it's in his PL since I said I was gonna do it a month ago since I saw OB's from like a year ago and wanted it.

I found the one from vibrant, they all have 2.5" inlets. will that work with our stock pipes (sxt)?

i'd go with a vibrant all you would need is a 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 reducer.

I've only heard weapor R mufflers on hondas and they didn't sound good at all. Pretty much a generic ricer muffler, but I guess it performs better than stock.

There are too many good options to really recommend one specifically, but I'd stick to the name brand ones if you can afford it.

Fac3l3ss,
I kniw, and you did help, its just that I had my heart set on a dual exit in flat black, ever since I saw the first one. It may not be up to everybody elses standards, but I do like it :)

Then just buy it, and have a shop make a short pipe to adapt it to the axle back. It's your car, do what makes you happy.

:withstupid:

Do what you like with your exhaust. The camaro setup is probably best if you want duals with flat black since you can just paint it yourself. Most of the ebay duals sound ricey, and a custom magnaflow/flowmaster/dynomax are roughly the same price for better quality and sound.

Yeah. You can get a fairly cheap, solid sounding muffler for cheap. Get some high-heat paint or whatever and bomb it.
