Legal ride height in ca is the 23" from the floor to the center of the headlight. That's the lowest it can be. Are you going to powdercoat them.

went to the junk yard today. I picked up a 95 sohc wiring harness, a ton of connectors and a single fan radiator shroud.
i'm getting excited as the swap list gets closer to being complete.

damn... I've actually been thinking about picking a set of those up and doing them some bright ass color but I haven't seen any locally for cheap. I pass this sunfire by my apt sometimes with some on it and it look pretty good. GTZ wheels ftw. PS they look really good polished!

thanks ryan? i am still unsure of a color. they may just go white again. i don't want to draw too much attention to the car with flashy colors that scream "pull me over"

I'm sure you've posted, and they aren't factory, but what strut body are you using? I've got some Mopar S3 coils that I want to stiffen up, and those QA1 springs are legit and well-priced. I'm thinking of grabbing maybe 400f / 350r. Are yours 2.5" or 2.25"? I know 2.25" is too small, but I've also ready that 2.5" can be a little big.

these are factory struts that have been modified. I cut them down to keep them from bottoming internally and blowing. They have handled the springs suprisingly well; it is just a very bouncy ride because of the lack of dampening. These springs really need a set of konis, but i don't like the idea of spending $500 and cutting them up. The springs are standard 2.5" id iirc. It's the standard coil over sleeve size.
