Got a question on outside appearance modifications. Questions about body kits, exterior lighting, just anything thats a visual mod on the "exterior" of the car. Ask those questions here.

Well, you've got lowering it down. Is it an auto or a stick? Do some sways or STBs. Or maybe a cam, a header, TB, something along those lines. Help wake it up a tad.

How exactly can i take off the molding? i know how to remove the badges but molding i have no idea...

only problem is that the car is auto so that sorta hinders my ability to make it go... right now i'm fine with an all show no go car because i'm saving for a decent project car during college. BTW i'm 17 years old and can make decent purchases but now too pricey...

not digging the rims, but other than that lower it and it will look sick. also maybe get a 2002 front bumper and then it will look real good

Looks great! As soon as you lower that thing, it will look 10 times better. If you are on budget, then Megan Racing springs will be a better choice compare to Sportline on the price.

You can also use fishing line, and floss out the side moldings like a seesaw.

I also recommend you get a 2002 front bumper from www.certifit.com for $30. It is the best looking OEM bumper.

First of all get rid of that front bumper, and find yourself a 01-02 front end.

I say:

Smoked sidemarkers
Debage/Demold
Get different rims
Take that pinstripe off
Get you some folding mirrors, and paint the folding part black
Lower it on anything really
If you keep the bumper, snag some foglights, tint them, and slap HIDs in the headlights and foglights.

But seriously, I was thinking the same. I was wondering how you made the tails, etc.

make sure you take a good look at your paint when you take the molding off, this is what i found a few days ago. I almost didn't notice it but i only took one door off. and it went right back on. Which sucks because it looks so much better without it

We're just giving you a hard time, no criticism. :D
Generally built not bought means you did all the mods from scratch.
There are ppl on here that have redone the insides of both head, and tail lights. ;)
A better way to put it would have been "I installed all the parts myself."

Not too many ppl can actually claim a completely built not bought project. We don't all own/have access to machine and body shop equipment.

Yes your headlights will still fit. '03 and up fascia, no. That goes for the rear tails/fascia also.

^^ Yes. 03+ saw the crosseyed headlamps. 2002 will work with yours.

I actually really like your headlamps, and Im not normally a fan of halo rings.

I myself wouldn't focus so much on blacking out the lights as I would doing a nice tint job and doing the side moldings, which in total will run you like $100, and thats all for the tint. lol.

Outside of that, I'm pretty much with FAC3L3SS, STBs, sway bar, stuff like that.

Looks good!
Then I'd do a nice little drop, doesn't need to be on its nuts, just something smooth looking.

Have you tried buffing it with an ultra-cut compound?
