Yup, that's Shaun's album. :)

He's one of the Admins on 'The.Org' (Neons.Org) !

That will come in handy someday...... I want to try rebuilding my 3-spd.ATX.

Yeech. Makes we want to find a junker and pull the tranny just so that I can rebuild it and have it ready as a replacement, so I won't have to do it under the gun if/when the time comes.

right while we are on this topic I found this company Import Performance Transmissions that does the 41te's as well. I e-mailed him and he says he also has performance valve bodies and custom stall torque converters for both the 3 and 4 speed autos.. I haven't tried his valve body yet but thought I would spread this little bit of information I found a while ago...

I am skeptical to try it lol just because I don't want to throw any codes due to increased line pressure or something.. The tech at import performance says it won't. I would like to see someone try it/

Any Takers?

The price is awfully expensive, to 'take a chance on', and find out it does not work....

I would imagine that not many, if any, of these units have been sold (again, due to price )
It is possible to buy an entire Neon, for the price of what the 4-spd.valvebody costs.
