Whats the best exhaust for turbo?
Hey guys,
I've got the SRT full exhaust on my car now, but i'm wondering if maybe just having my exhaust go out the side would make less restriction and provide more power.
Any suggestions? Comments?

The straighter the better. Putting it out the side would take a lot of bends out of the exhaust, but it looks like complete crap IMO. A good 3" turbo-back would be the best bet, but it's up to your pockets whether you can or not.

hmm..looks like arse eh?
Why would it look that bad?
I realize a turbo back would be good, but i figure with all those bends and curves the one curve out the side would be kick butt for airflow.

Probably just go with a 3" setup turbo back. 3" isn't really NEEDed if you aren't going above 300whp but it gives a slight gain over 2.5". All depends on how much power you want to put down. If you're just going for 215-260 then 2.5 would be fine but 3" would give slightly better.
About side exit, I personally dont' like it and plus you're rear wheel, whichever side you put the exit on, would be darker than the rest from the exhaust... hmmm... yeah not so much.

Side pipes or side exit? I had a 2.5" straight pipe side exit on my Daytona for a long time with no hassle from the notoriously bored and willing-to-stop-people-for-no-reason cops around here.p8ntballah413 wrote:side pipes are illegal in like all 50 states, good like passing inspection...
