headrest monitor

Post by unc-newbie » Fri Mar 26, 2010 1:43 am

I am looking at putting in some headrest monitors in my neon. I am trying to figure out what the biggest size you can fit within our headrest. I mean I have found some 7" and also some 9.5" headrest with monitor replacements but didn't know if the 9.5" would be to big and if it would look right.

Do you own a tape measure? 'Cuz that would be the easiest way to see if it'll fit.

Or, make a cardboard template and hold it up, see how close to the edges the monitors will be, etc.

But being a prick to newbs is easier. They aren't embedded here so they're easier to pick off!

The 2 headrest monitors I was looking at came with the headrest but didn't have the dimensions. So I was trying to see how big a 9.5" lcd was to see if it would fit. I've done some more searching and I don't think the 9.5's will fit.

I don't think so either.. I'd say somewhere in the range of 6.5" but I have no idea, just a guess.

Your posts aren't making sense. In the first post you mention having whole headrests with replacements, now you're saying you want to buy some.

Clarify please?

I am looking at buying replacement headrests with lcd monitors built in. I was looking at headrests with built in 9.5" lcd but didn't know if they would be to big.

Hopefully that clarify's
