Rear view mirror lights help

Post by SP33DN3ON » Tue Mar 30, 2010 8:13 pm

I recently got a 2005 SRT-4 rear view mirror and it has this lights on it, I bought the harness for it but I don't know what and where it connects to. My sister's 2005 SXT has the same feature, and I think it connects to the dome light?
I have an 2001 SE, ATX.
Thanks for the help!

While this is in the interior, it is an electrical issue.

it's not connected to the domelight.
But it is absolutely easy. All you need is ignition switched 12V and ground.
The 12V source you can find on the left side in the fuse box!
You can run the wire along the driver side a-pillar.

Harness connects to a red plug underneath the dash on the driver's side near the A-pillar IIRC

I picked one of these rear view mirrors also. My neon doesn't have the red plug under the dash. So I was thinking of going back to the junk yard and pulling the whole in-dash wiring harness and fuse panel and swapping it out with mine. That way when I switch over to power windows and power locks. Everything would be there for that too, hopefully.
