Questions about axles, transmissions, differentials, pretty much anything that connects the engine to the wheels, this is the place for those questions.

where/who to buy PT clutch from????

Post by tamadrumr88 » Sun Nov 06, 2005 9:29 pm

last i heard, fenton wasnt doing the discounts anymore so i dont think i can get the clutch as cheap as i initially had hoped...

regardless, i need a new throw-out bearing, and i want to upgrade to the pt clutch and obviously new flywheel bolts

know where/who to get these from the cheapest? got prices? phone numbers?

thanks

just grab the pn you need and take it to autozone. Then be cool like me and grab an aluminum flywheel to throw in there too.

But for you the best thing to do would be go through you're dealer if you get the 25% off. At one time I needed to order a couple parts that in total came to a couple hundred from my dealer. I priced everything through MSPC and through my dealer from a guy I know that can get 25% off + tax exempt and MSPC was cheaper but tack on the cost of shipping and they would have been more than me going through the dealer with my discount.

You'll just have to give MSPC a call to see what kinda deal they can give you and compare.

i feel extremelly stupid for posting this. what happened was, the guy ordered the correct part for my engine, but he put a quantity of 4 because he thought it had the individual gaskets unlike the single gasket for the magnum engines. but still, those prices reflect the purchase of 4 magnum intake mani -> head... gaskets (could find the correct way to write that cuz its not the 'head gasket'... anyway) for a reg customer and for me :)
