Mount question..

Post by strykr » Thu Apr 01, 2010 11:12 pm

I just recently bought a MTX off my buddy, and the only part he said I dont have is the transmission mount.. He said its the one directly under the battery tray..

Whats the part called? and if it is the trans mount.. what is the part code? because I was planning on changing my car over the MTX this weekend..

It's called a transmission mount. Part code will depend on the manufacturer. Just look up a transmission mount for whatever year it is.

If you're looking to upgrade to a stiffer mount you might try contacting http://www.deyemeracing.com/ and see what he can do for you.

He was big into making mounts many moons ago and has since reopened his store. He doesn't list the 2GN mount on his store but if you contact him he may be able to make you one... could be cheaper than new as well.
