Slave to master cylinder line question?

Questions about axles, transmissions, differentials, pretty much anything that connects the engine to the wheels, this is the place for those questions.

Slave to master cylinder line question?

Post by synviper » Sat Apr 03, 2010 10:36 am

Okay on mtx there is a black line that runs from the master cylinder to the slave cylinder and the connection is right underneath the battery tray. For some reason i cannot get the two ends to connected, they have the teeth that they should just lock into place but i cant seem to get it to lock.

Does anyone know how to connect this line, this is the final thing then i can bleed the lines and see if the car starts.

Thanks in advanced.

ps i can post pixs later if someone needs a reference.

you should just be able to push them together. but make sure the white plastic release ring isnt in the way of the locking metal teeth

So keep the plastic off the teeth and just force the one end into the other?

With the white ring all the way back, it should snap together.
