My neon is showing the code P0601 Control Module Read Only Memory (ROM)..what is this??? and how can it be fixed?

I mean, you can say "breathe" all you want, but he's been here less than 3 months, can search, and not ask these sorts of questions that are a) recent and b) typically stickied.

Not only that, it is literally the first thread in the emissions page where this should be posted...

It could also be considered an engine topic, since it is an engine controller problem. Whether or not it actually has any effect on emissions is yet to be determined. If it is still running, and there are no o2 codes, prolly not.
